South Carolina

South Carolina is a southeastern state in the region of the United States. Bordered to the north by North Carolina, to the south and west by Georgia across the Savannah River, and to the east by the Atlantic Ocean, the state is known for its shoreline of subtropical beaches and marshlike sea islands.
